Why We Like Him: A friend of UVA was recently in need of a handy man for her mother. The lady just needed a little help around the house and yard. Since the friend lived in another state, she needed to find a young man to look in on her once in a while to help her with things around the house. The friend placed an ad on Craigslist.com and a former student of the University of Virginia named Michael Williams answered. He was taking graduate classes not far from the mother's house. Michael proved to be friendly, bright, capable and intelligent. Best of all, the mother just loves him. They get along so well! It has worked out so well for them both.
