Why We Like Her: Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude and went on to join ESPN in 1996. Melissa paved the way for other popular female sports reporting personalities like Erin Andrews, Jill Arrington and Jillian Barberie...all pictured in their blue and orange. Melissa no longer reports on sports. And although many have tried, Melissa is still regarded today as having the best journalism skills and sports knowledge among all female reporters.
